Simple Ways to Accessorise

Accessories add interest to your outfit. They help you go from simply dressing yourself to styling yourself. Without them, you may become bored of your wardrobe and start spending money on new outfits every week or throwing away items that haven't actually gone out of style. Adding accessories such as jewellery, head pieces, bags, scarves, shoes etc, can make the same outfit look totally different. So instead of changing your entire wardrobe - try incorporating some of these fun pieces to breathe new life into it!

Jewellery doesn’t have to be costly to elevate an outfit. Cotton On has a great collection of jewellery that offer a great mix of quality and affordability. This means you can stock up on their fun and diverse range of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and so much more. Check out their Rubi collection of jewellery sets and individual pieces for those final touches.

Add a hat to your summer look! Whether you’re after a sporty, summer or dressy vibe, Seed has some great designs and colour palettes which can be seen across their range of hats, as well as their scarves and bags. What we love about Seed products is that you can mix and match your accessories and style your outfit from head to toe!

Bags are by far the most functional accessory in fashion. They keep everything you need safe and help you walk more freely. Country Road’s collection of bags not only offer functionality but come in beautiful colours, unique designs and many different sizes. These can add a pop of colour to your outfit and help to tie everything together.

Scarves are great additions to an outfit - they add texture, colour and pattern to your otherwise plain clothes. If your wardrobe consists of a lot of black, we highly recommend trying a few out. Myer has a great range of summer scarves (and heaps of cosy ones!) made from lighter fabrics which means you don’t need to wait for the colder months to throw one on.

Shoes can have a big impact on your outfit. They can often be the solution to some of our most common wardrobe problems. If your outfit feels too casual - you can fix this with a nice pair of heels or boots. If you’re worried about being overdressed - a pair of sneakers will do the trick! Check out the incredible range of shoes The Iconic has to offer!
